Warm, dry weather conditions continue throughout the week before Halloween weekend, with temperatures expected to remain above normal for at least until Friday. Expect afternoon highs in the 70s most likely to be in the low to mid 70s, with our warmest readings likely to occur on Thursday when temperatures could challenge the daily record. The dry streak ends as we head into Halloween weekend with rain possible for Saturday night into Sunday, with the most likely onset of rain around trick-or-treat time. A wetter weather pattern is expected for early next week following the Halloween weekend system. However, temperatures are expected to cool a bit but the long-term pattern for early November remains mild.
