INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday evening.

Officers were dispatched to 6850 E. 21st St. around 6 p.m. Thursday on a report of a person shot. That is the address of the Budget 8 Inn, near East 21st Street and North Shadeland Avenue.

The officers arrived to find two people who had apparently been shot. One of the victims was listed in critical condition. The condition of the other victim is not known at this time.
