According to IMPD, just after 12:30 a.m. officers received a c… The Indianapolis Metro Police Department (IMPD) is investigating a drive-by shooting that left a juvenile boy with a superficial wound that struck him on the 3600 block of MacArthur lane on Indy’s west side. The shooting occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. on the morning of the shooting, which was reported as early as 12.30am, occurred outside of a house and went through a wall and headboard. The juvenile was asleep when the shooting occurred and did not know he had been hit. There is no known suspect yet in relation to the shooting.

INDIANAPOLS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that struck a juvenile on Indy’s west side.

According to IMPD, just after 12:30 a.m. officers received a call of shots fired in the 3600 block of MacArthur lane.

Officers discovered that rounds were fired from outside the house, had gone through a wall and headboard, and struck a male juvenile. IMPD says the wound was superficial and the juvenile was not taken to the hospital.

Police were told that the juvenile was asleep when the shooting occurred, and did not know that he had been struck.

Police say it was a drive-by shooting and do not believe there is a threat to the neighborhood

There is no known suspect at this time.
