‘Forever 13’: Family remembers 13-year-old Fort Wayne native Andrea Eguia killed in Indianapolis
“Pooders was, man, Pooders was, from the day she was born she was sunshine.” Andrea Eguia, a 13-year-old Fort Wayne native known as "Pooders," was shot and killed in Indianapolis. Eguya was originally from Fort Wayne and attended Miami Middle School and Irwin Elementary School. Her family described her as a great kid who stayed out of trouble and said this tragedy can happen to anyone. The family is searching for justice and raising awareness about gun violence.
