Expect afternoon highs in the 70s most likely to be in the low to mid 70s this week, with the warmest readings likely to occur on Thursday when temperatures could challenge the daily record. South-southwest winds are expected to increase, with gusts of 10 to 20 mph expected. The dry streak ends as we head into Halloween weekend with rain possible for Saturday night into Sunday, with most likely onset coming around trick-or-treat time. A wetter weather pattern is expected for early next week, but the long-term pattern still looks mild for early November.
