The motorcycle had collided with a deer attempting to cross the road and ejected the driver from the bike. The driver was transported by LifeLine helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital. No word on the victim's condition is yet. The crash occurred near East County Road 500 South and occurred just south of Bellmore.

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person was flown to a hospital in Indianapolis after their motorcycle crashed into a deer attempting to cross the road.

According to Parke County Sheriff Jason Frazier, the crash occurred on March 29 at 8:45 p.m. along State Road 59. The crash occurred north of East County Road 500 South just south of Bellmore.

Investigators found that the motorcycle had been headed north on S.R. 59 when it collided with a deer. The driver was ejected from the bike as a result.

The driver was then flown by LifeLine helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital. No word on the victim’s condition at this time.

Sheriff Frazier thanked the Bellmore Fire Department, Parke County EMS, and LifeLine for their assistance at the scene.
