The crash occurred near the intersection of West 53rd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The passenger, a woman, was transported to a local hospital and then flown to an Indianapolis hospital for further treatment. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated and released. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The accident remains under investigation.
