INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) and Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing recently announced Mainstay Farming Partnership, located in Kewanna, Indiana, and Breisch Farms... The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) and Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing have announced the winners of the 2026 Weaver PopCorn Manufacturing Stewardship Award. The award is given to Weaver Popcor growers who have committed to improving soil health and water quality on their operations. Mainstay Farming Partnership in Kewanna, Indiana, and Breisch Farms LLC in Greentown, Indiana were awarded $20,000 for first place and $10,000 respectively for second place. The winner was announced by Jeff Sheedy, Manager of Agriculture for Weaver Pop Corn Manufacturing. The partnership highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in conservation.
