With two trades in one day, Colts are clearly open for business

The Sunday Splash! The Indianapolis Colts have made two trades in one day, with guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner expected to go to the Seahawks and 49ers respectively. Running back Jonathan Taylor has been linked to the Packers, Seahawks, Broncos, and Vikings. The Vikings had an opportunity to scout Taylor after he accounted for 110 of the team's 218 total offensive yards in a 16-10 Minnesota win. There is an incentive to maximize 2027 draft picks, especially since the Colts' first-rounder is currently committed to the Jets. Taylor is under contract with the Vikings for two more years and could make a significant difference for a team with a strong defense.
