The system has deterred about 125 people in Indianapolis from booking entire homes Halloween weekend in 2025. This comes as IMPD shares safety tips for drivers and families ahead of Halloween, reminding them to use crosswalks and respect other people's property. Short-term rentals can still be booked by Airbnb, but not entire homes. The platform also offers 24/7 support lines for hosts, guests and neighbors.
