Meta introduces AI assistant Muse for Small Business to help owners manage tasks and save time effectively. Meta has introduced Muse for Small Business, a new artificial intelligence tool designed to help small business owners manage time-consuming tasks for small businesses. The tool can manage calendars, create marketing content and coordinate vendor meetings on behalf of business owners. Muse, designed to complete tasks on behalf small business, integrates with email, calendars, Facebook, Instagram and business platforms like QuickBooks and Shopify. The system requires explicit approval from business owners for significant actions such as publishing content, making purchases, sending messages or spending money without explicit approval. Diana Doukas, Meta’s director of economic opportunity and advocacy, said Muse differs from traditional AI tools as it can take action to complete actual tasks rather than merely provide information or recommendations. The platform also requires privacy and security.
